A high-performing secondary school in Harrow is looking for a Teaching Assistant to come into lessons and support their KS3-KS5 students throughout their esteemed establishment. A Teaching Assistant will be responsible for helping students in a plethora of subjects and helping students reach their full potential. Teaching assistants will be expected to provide support in the core subjects.
My clients are looking to enhance their support team from September, and are looking to work with subject specialists who can support solely in their subjects. If you're a graduate in English, Maths or Science, keep reading!
Teaching Assistant | About the job:
- A First-Class Degree is Mandatory. An Upper-Second Class Degree from a Top-20 University will also be considered.
- A Teaching Assistant will be between £96-£105 a day depending on experience | Paid Weekly via PAYE.
- Applicants will be responsible for supporting students with various abilities and helping them reach their full potential.
- The main subjects Teaching Assistant will be expected to help within their specialism, but may be asked to help in other subjects.
- It would be advantageous if applicants to the Teaching Assistant position have previous child-centred experience and experience with SEND.
- Previous Tutoring and Education experience will be looked upon fondly.
- You may be tasked with hosting small-group interventions, supporting students 1-1 or supporting across a class during lessons.
