Are you an Aspiring Educational Psychologist who has a passion for supporting students’ learning and development, particularly those with SEN?
 

We are seeking an Aspiring Educational Psychologist to join a forward-thinking primary school in Tower Hamlets. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Psychology Graduate looking to make a positive impact and gain hands on experience in a school setting.
 

Aspiring Educational Psychologist | Job Summary
  • Full-time term time only Aspiring Educational Psychologist role | Long term contract until July 2025
  • Work alongside qualified SEND professionals, Specialist Teachers and Educational Psychologists
  • Role Paying £400-£500 per week | Paid weekly on PAYE basis
  • First-Class or 2:1 Psychology degree from a top 20 UK University
  • Experience working with children with SEN is essential
  • Excellent communication skills, with an empathetic and patient nature when supporting students
 

Aspiring Educational Psychologist | Job Role
  • Support small groups of students and on a 1:1 basis in the classroom or in intervention sessions
  • Highly rewarding role making a meaningful impact on children with varied Special Educational Needs (such as ASD, SEMH, ADHD, SLCN)
  • Assist the class teacher in preparing class material and provide comfort and emotional support to students
  • Using a composed approach to de-escalate situations, ensuring a safe environment for students
