Drama Teacher: Requirements

• QTS gained from England
• Undergraduate Degree in a relevant subject (2:1 or above)
• Previous experience working as a Drama Teacher in a diverse Secondary School

Drama Teacher: Role

• Create a love for learning attitude towards Drama, developing their confidence and ability to express their emotions.
• Develop the pupil’s ability to reflect on their performance a provide feedback to their peers.
• Implement different teaching methods to engage students in the learning process.

Drama Teacher: Responsibilities

• Follow the school’s behaviour policy to maintain discipline with the classroom and theatre environment
• Follow the Drama National Curriculum so students gain knowledge, skills and understanding associated with the artistic practice of drama.
• Attend professional development workshops and stay updated on latest teaching methodologies.
