Autism Support Assistant | Job Summary
- Full-time term time only Autism Support Assistant role | Long term contract until July 2025
- Work alongside qualified SEND professionals & Specialist Teachers
- Role paying £400-£500 per week | Paid weekly on PAYE basis
- First-Class or 2:1 Psychology degree from a Top 20 UK University
- Experience working with children with SEN is desirable
- Inhouse and external training to further develop your skill set
Autism Support Assistant | Job Role
- Support small groups of students and on a 1:1 basis to help them engage with the curriculum and achieve their full potential
- Encourage independence and confidence in students, both academically and socially.
- Assisting with sensory and behavior management strategies to create a calm and structured learning environment.
- Support students with autism in managing daily routines, including personal care, leisure activities, and educational tasks.
