Behaviour Support Assistant - Specialist Provisions, Islington

Location: Islington, London
Pay: PAYE £100-£110 per day
Contract Type: Full-time, Term Time Only

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We're looking for a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team, working in specialist provisions in Islington.

Behaviour Support Assistant - Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for children with SEMH needs.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies to support children and help them achieve positive outcomes.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Build strong relationships with students, encouraging their social and emotional development.
Behaviour Support Assistant - The Ideal Candidate:
  • Has experience working with challenging children and/or teenagers.
  • Is resilient, patient, and able to adapt to the unique needs of each child.
  • Can remain calm in challenging situations and provide a positive role model for students.
  • Is committed to supporting the well-being and development of children with additional needs.
