Deaf Communication Support Worker – Barking and Dagenham – ASAP

What the Role Will Involve:

  • Support deaf children in accessing the curriculum as a Deaf Communication Support Worker
  • Implement strategies to assist with language difficulties
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals to create an inclusive learning environment
  • Build positive relationships with students to enhance their educational experience as a Deaf Communication Support Worker
 
Requirements:

  • A 2:1 Degree or higher from a top UK University
  • British Sign Language Level 3 or above
  • Experience supporting deaf children with language difficulties
  • Committed to high student achievement and tailored educational opportunities for each child
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to work effectively in a team
