What the Role Will Involve:

Support deaf children in accessing the curriculum as a Deaf Communication Support Worker
Implement strategies to assist with language difficulties
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals to create an inclusive learning environment
Build positive relationships with students to enhance their educational experience as a Deaf Communication Support Worker

Requirements:

A 2:1 Degree or higher from a top UK University
British Sign Language Level 3 or above
Experience supporting deaf children with language difficulties
Committed to high student achievement and tailored educational opportunities for each child
Strong interpersonal skills and able to work effectively in a team
