English Academic Mentor | Job Summary

• Full-time term time only English Academic Mentor role | Long term contract until July 2025
• First-Class English related degree from a Top 10 UK University
• Role paying £400-£500 per week | Paid weekly on PAYE basis
• Experience working with children is desirable

 

English Academic Mentor | Job Role

• Receive mentorship and training from an outstanding English department
• Work alongside teachers to plan and deliver engaging sessions customised to meet the unique needs of each student
• Support students in a classroom setting, 1:1, focusing on reading comprehension, creative writing, and exam preparation.
• Assist GCSE students with exam preparation, focusing on enhancing essential skills and building their confidence to manage exam stress effectively.
