English Teacher - Key Responsibilities:

Create and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in English to students in KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach up to KS5 depending on your experience.
Work collaboratively with colleagues in the English department and across the school to ensure the integration of the school’s progressive teaching methods.
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning, ensuring students consistently meet the school’s standards of excellence.
Inspire a passion for English in students, encouraging them to reach their full academic potential through dynamic and effective teaching.
Ensure that the lessons you deliver are aligned with the national English curriculum, facilitating excellent student progress.

English Teacher - Essential Qualities:

A QTS is essential
Proven experience as an English Teacher, with a strong understanding of the English curriculum. Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 is essential, and experience with KS5 is highly desirable.
The ability to manage a classroom effectively, creating an inclusive and positive environment where all students can thrive.
A commitment to the school's ethos, helping to promote a positive culture within the classroom and the wider school community.
A genuine passion for teaching, with a dedication to continually improving your practice within a progressive and innovative school.
