This Head of Humanities role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced subject leader looking to drive academic excellence across History, Geography, and RE. As Head of Humanities, you will lead a large department, manage curriculum planning, and support staff development. The school is seeking a Head of Humanities who is passionate, well-organised, and ready to contribute to whole-school improvement.

 
As Head of Humanities, you’ll take an active role in the school’s leadership structure and help shape its inclusive, values-led approach to teaching.

 
Head of Humanities – Responsibilities:

• Lead curriculum design and delivery across Humanities subjects
• Line manage and support departmental staff
• Track and analyse student performance data
• Champion cultural capital and cross-curricular links

 
What We’re Looking For:

• UK QTS and a Humanities-related degree
• Leadership experience within a Humanities subject
• Strong organisational and communication skills
