Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Wandsworth – Immediate Start

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons, taking an active role in classroom teaching
  • Lead small group interventions to help boost student progress, particularly for those who need extra support
  • Cover classes in the absence of the teacher, maintaining a structured and supportive learning environment
  • Assist in the assessment of students, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to progress reports
  • Work closely with the teaching team to ensure students reach their full academic potential
 
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, with a strong understanding of classroom management and supporting students' learning
  • HLTA qualification or significant classroom experience, with a desire to take on additional responsibilities
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and lead small groups
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed

Start Date: Immediate start, with the position running until July 2025.
