A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Havering is looking to appoint a passionate History Teacher to join their Humanities department from September 2025.

 

 

This History Teacher role would suit someone with strong curriculum knowledge and the ability to inspire curiosity and debate across KS3 and KS4.

 

 

History Teacher – Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging History lessons with a focus on critical thinking
• Encourage student discussion and independent research
• Assess and track student progress regularly
• Collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular projects

 

 

What We’re Looking For:

• QTS and a degree in History or a related subject
• Experience teaching History in a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom presence and communication skills
• Passionate about supporting diverse learners
