KS2 Reading Lead Role Highlights:

• Take ownership of the KS2 reading curriculum as the KS2 Reading Lead
  
  
• Deliver engaging and effective KS2 lessons with a focus on literacy progress
  
  
• Monitor and drive attainment through strategic planning and targeted interventions
  
  
• Collaborate with staff and SLT to ensure cohesive curriculum delivery across year groups
  
  
• Work closely with parents to promote reading culture both in and out of school

We are looking for a KS2 Reading Lead who:

• Holds QTS and a 1:1 degree from a top 20 UK university
  
  
• Demonstrates excellent behaviour management and classroom presence
  
  
• Has a creative and proactive approach to curriculum leadership
  
  
• Shows experience or ambition to progress to senior leadership
  
  
• Communicates confidently and professionally with staff, students, and parents
  
  
• Is based in or willing to work in Barking & Dagenham
