Responsibilities of the Learning Support Assistant:
- Provide support to students with additional needs as a Learning Support Assistant, both 1:1 and in small groups
- Construct relationships with students to encourage their engagement and learning
- Collaborate with school staff and professional support teams to create a productive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
- Execute effective behaviour management strategies to support student development
Requirements of the Learning Support Assistant Role:
- A minimum of a 2:1 degree or higher in Psychology or a relevant field from a top 20 UK university
- Experience working with children, ideally those with special educational needs (SEN)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage behaviour effectively
