Literacy Support Assistant | Kingston | Immediate Start

A well-established school in Kingston is seeking a dedicated Literacy Support Assistant to join their team and help students achieve their full potential. Responsibilities Include:
  • Providing 1:1 and small group literacy support to students
  • Assisting in the development of reading, writing, and comprehension skills
  • Supporting teachers in creating tailored literacy interventions

  • Monitoring and tracking students' progress and providing feedback
  • Building strong relationships with students to foster a positive learning environment
 
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Have a strong interest in literacy and education
  • Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
  • Be proactive, compassionate, and eager to help students reach their potential
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be organised and able to support students with varying literacy levels
  • A qualification in English or Literacy would be desirable but not essential
