• Full-time term time only Maths Teaching Assistant role | Long term contract until July 2025
• Opportunities to qualify as a teacher and gain QTS
• Role paying £400-£500 per week | Paid weekly on PAYE basis
• Experience working with children ideally tutoring is desirable
• First-Class or 2:1 Maths related degree from a top 20 UK University

 

Maths Teaching Assistant | Job Role

• Work 1:1 and in small groups solving knowledge gaps and simplifying complex concepts
• Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Maths lessons and ensure all students grasp challenging mathematical concepts.
• Track and monitor student progress, providing feedback to the teacher and identifying any additional areas where support may be needed.
• Prepare students for exams with focused revision, problem-solving strategies, and confidence-building activities
