As a Music Teacher in this ‘Outstanding’ School, you will be required to:

• In conjunction with the Lead Teacher Music, help design and deliver a distinctive Music curriculum that meets the aims of the Academy, emphasises attainment and the needs of all students
• Assisting the Lead Teacher Music to develop a coherent academy wide approach to literacy through Music
• To provide specialist subject Music expertise as appropriate

The requirements for this Music Teacher position:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Music from Top 20 UK University
• QTS obtained through PGCE/Teach First/SCITT/Schools Direct/BeD
• Experience Teaching Music up to KS5
• Positive attitude towards pupil’s learning and an encouraging and enthusiastic teaching approach
