Full-time, Term-time – 7:30-4:30 | July 2025 Start | £28,000-£35,000 per annum

 

Do you have relevant school experience and are seeking an exciting new role in an incredible, outstanding rated Primary school based in Havering. This close-knit, creative and vibrant community are seeking a personable character to join the front office team and maintain the high standards the school.

 

We are looking for someone who is highly organised and approachable, who displays excellent communication and administration skills. The role requires working at pace and the ability to prioritise and work well under pressure.

 

YOU MUST BE PROFICIENT IN SIMS to move forward in this application. 

 

School Attendance Officer Key Responsibilities:

• Promote excellent attendance, reduce levels of absence, improve punctuality and work with students and families to promote high levels of attendance.
• The School is above National Average - so keeping the parents and students responsible for attendance
• Meeting and greeting visitors to the school and being the first point of contact for the community.
• Co-ordinating meeting room bookings/school calendar.

 

School Attendance Officer / Receptionist Requirements:

• Experience in a school setting is beneficial.

• IT proficiency – SIMs experience required.

• Strong customer service – personable and can ‘do’ attitude, able to form strong relationships with all memberships of the school community!
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Being able to support parents and students struggling with attendance
• Create Trust with parents
