- Ensuring that all children have a safe learning environment and are assisted in their learning and development.
- Working on a 1:1 basis or with a small group of children who need extra emotional support.
- Implement agreed work programmes to ensure the correct support is being given.
SEMH Support Assistant | Personal Specification
- Strong career goals to become a Psychologist/Therapist.
- Obtained a minimum 2:1 degree (ideally in Psychology) from a Top 20 UK University.
- Passionate about making a positive impact to children’s lives.
- Previous experience working with children is highly sought after.
- Excellent communication skills, resilience, and patience.
