SEN Support Assistant | Tower Hamlets 

Are you a passionate graduate with a strong interest in supporting children with diverse special educational needs? Are you eager to build your career in Psychology by gaining hands-on experience in one of our exceptional primary schools?


If so, you’re in luck! We’re partnering with a school in Tower Hamlets seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Psychology graduate to join their team as an SEN Support Assistant.


SEN Support Assistant | Job Summary
  • Full-time term time only SEN Teaching Support role | Long term contract until July 2025
  • Work alongside qualified SEND professionals, Specialist Teachers and Educational Psychologists and learn first hand
  • Role Paying £420-£500 per week | Paid weekly on PAYE basis
  • Minimum 2:1 Psychology related degree from a top 20 UK university
  • Previous experience working with children with SEND is very desirable

SEN Support Assistant | Job Role
  • Support small groups of students and on a 1:1 basis
  • Have a Calming and nurturing nature around vulnerable children
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the students, guaranteeing a safe environment for all children
  • Assist in managing classroom behaviour and supporting students learning
