SEN Teaching Assistant | Role Overview:
- Supporting children with special educational needs in 1:1 and small group settings
- Assisting within the school's dedicated SEN provision, working closely with teachers and SENCOs
- Providing tailored support to help SEN children achieve their academic potential
- Implementing strategies to support children with various needs and ensuring their full participation in school activities
- Working alongside experienced professionals to gain a deeper understanding of SEN
SEN Teaching Assistant | Ideal Candidate:
- A minimum of a 2:1 degree, ideally in psychology or a related field (1st class degree preferred)
- Previous professional experience working with children, ideally in an SEN setting
- A passion for supporting children and making a positive impact on their learning journey
- A strong interest in pursuing a career in educational psychology or a school-based career.
