SEN Teaching Assistant – Wandsworth – Immediate Start

SEN Teaching Assistant | Role Overview:
  • Supporting children with special educational needs in 1:1 and small group settings
  • Assisting within the school's dedicated SEN provision, working closely with teachers and SENCOs
  • Providing tailored support to help SEN children achieve their academic potential
  • Implementing strategies to support children with various needs and ensuring their full participation in school activities
  • Working alongside experienced professionals to gain a deeper understanding of SEN
 
SEN Teaching Assistant | Ideal Candidate:
  • A minimum of a 2:1 degree, ideally in psychology or a related field (1st class degree preferred)
  • Previous professional experience working with children, ideally in an SEN setting
  • A passion for supporting children and making a positive impact on their learning journey
  • A strong interest in pursuing a career in educational psychology or a school-based career.
