We are looking to appoint a SENCO (Head of Academic Inclusion) to lead and champion a whole-school approach to inclusive learning and teaching, ensuring effective support for pupils with additional learning needs.

- Outstanding Ofsted rating – ‘exemplary student behaviour and a strong culture of learning.’
- High academic standards – ‘pupils achieve above the national average across all year groups.’
- The use of external agencies to deliver exceptional CPD.
- Shape inclusive policies, improve teaching practices, and ensure compliance with the Children and Families Act (2014).
- Have a deep understanding of the needs of pupils with SEND, and specialist knowledge in statutory frameworks, identification of SEN, and provision management.
- Stay updated on best practices for teaching, behaviour management, and professional development.
- Engage with colleagues, families, external agencies, and education providers to enhance SEND provision.
- National Professional Qualification (NPQ) for SENCOs.
- Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
- 2 + year of educational based practice.
