SENCo – The Role:
- Full-time, permanent SENCo position
- MPS/UPS + TLR (Inner London)
- Lead the strategic development of SEND policy and provision across the school
- Provide support, training and guidance to colleagues to ensure inclusive practice
- Oversee EHCPs, referrals, assessments, and tailored interventions
- Work closely with external agencies, parents, and the wider school community
- Ofsted ‘Good’ school with a strong commitment to inclusion
- Supportive Senior Leadership Team and excellent SEND resources
- Ongoing CPD and leadership development opportunities
- A nurturing and community-driven ethos where every child is known and valued
- A diverse school population that celebrates difference and encourages success
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Hold the National SENCo Award (or be willing to work towards it)
- Have in-depth knowledge of SEND strategies and relevant legislation
- Be passionate about making education accessible and meaningful for all pupils
- Be a strong communicator and skilled collaborator
