I am currently working with a great primary school based in Plaistow looking for a personable, passionate, and patient SEND Teaching Assistant to join their friendly and hardworking team of SEND Specialist. This Plaistow based school is looking to expand their department with an enthusiastic teaching assistant that can help and support pupils with a background of Special Educational Needs and other disabilities progress and improve their mental, emotional, and academic skills.

SEND Teaching Assistant:

• First-Class Psychology Degree from Top 20 UK University

• £450 per week paid on PAYE Basis

• 8.30am-3.30pm, Monday-Friday

• Work alongside Psychologists and Specialist Workers

This role will involve you working with pupils that need extra support to help them prepare for further education. As an Aspiring Psychologist you will be working alongside Psychologist and Specialist workers whilst providing 1:1 and group sessions. You will get a chance to boost your experience, set of skills and apply what you learnt during your degree!

You will be asked to create plans and actively take part in the implementation of new approaches that can benefit pupils. Based on their activities and progress you will be required to write reports and present the SEND Department with updates that can be discussed to improve the pupil’s experiences.
