Ribbons & Reeves are working in partnership with an inclusive Secondary School in Purley, who are looking to expand their team of motivating individuals to support students who have additional learning needs as a SEND Teaching Assistant.

SEND Teaching Assistant | The role:

• Providing support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities.
• Building and maintaining successful relationships with pupils, whilst treating them with respect and consideration.
• Assisting pupils with their educational and social development, on an individual or group basis.

SEND Teaching Assistant | Personal specification:

• Minimum of a 2:1 degree ideally in Psychology/Education focused area
• Some experience working with children in an educational environment would be desirable.
• Have high expectations of learning and teaching.
• Able to be a positive role model.
• Be able to work collaboratively with a range of children.
• This will be an amazing opportunity to gain an insight into working within a school as a SEND Teaching Assistant, and you can expect hands-on training and support from other members of staff around the school.
