We are working with a Primary School in Tower Hamlets who are seeking a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who has previous Speech and Language experience or a keen interest supporting students with communication difficulties.

Speech and Language Teaching Assistant | Job Summary

• Full-time term time only Speech and Language Teaching Assistant role – Commencing in September until the end of the academic year

• Role paying £480-£600 per week | Paid weekly on PAYE basis
• Experience working with children is desirable
• Minimum 2:1 Psychology or Linguistics degree from a top 20 UK University

Speech and Language Teaching Assistant | Job Role

• Provide tailored communication sessions to small groups of students and on a 1:1 basis
• A chance to genuinely make an impact in education!
• Provide support to EYFS, KS1 and KS2 students
• Collaborating with the SENCO, teachers, and external speech and language professionals to implement intervention programmes.
• Ensure that students are getting the support needed and monitoring progression of these students
