We’re excited to appoint a STEM Tutor for a November 2024 start at a partner Secondary School in Wandsworth. This placement is ideal for graduates eager to inspire and gain valuable school experience before training to teach.

STEM Tutor - The Role

• Placement from November 2024 to July 2025
• £96+ per day | Paid via PAYE weekly
• Tutoring and mentoring students aged 11–18 in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths
• Providing 1:1 and small group interventions to enhance learning outcomes and confidence
• Implementing strategies to close knowledge gaps and inspire student achievement

 
STEM Tutor – Job Requirements

• First-Class or 2:1 in a STEM-related degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths)
• Strong academic record with excellent A-Levels and GCSEs
• Ambitions to become a STEM Teacher in the future
• Energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to captivate and support students
• Willingness to fully engage in school life, including clubs, enrichment activities, and school trips
