Job description
Teaching Assistant | Embankment | City of Westminster
Are you eager to pursue a career in teaching and interested in working with Primary School students?
If so, a lovely Primary School in Embankment is seeking motivated and enthusiastic Graduates to join their team as Teaching Assistants, supporting teaching across various year groups.
The school boasts its non-selectiveness, inclusivity and is home to some of the highest-performing teaching teams in the area. They are now looking to build on this success by welcoming talented Graduate Teaching Assistants to support pupils in English and Maths, helping them 'catch up' after the Covid-19 pandemic.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, assisting them with challenges in literacy and maths, as well as supporting their speech and pronunciation development.
This role is available until the end of the academic year (24/25). If you excel in the position, there is an opportunity to progress onto Schools Direct Initial Teacher Training and become a fully qualified Teacher.
The school is eager to meet exceptional Graduate Teaching Assistants. Interviews for the role will take place at the school. Contact Charlotte at Ribbons & Reeves today!
