Faith is what bought Lucy into our team at Ribbons & Reeves. Before working at R&R Lucy was an ambitions university student with an infectious, positive attitude and progression focused personality, which she has been living up to since her first day.
Lucy was studying Business Management with HR, whilst working in retail and setting up her Beauty Business when R&R approached her to start her career with us in our accounts department. Having seen her hunger for further progress, we knew we would be able to support Lucy in succeeding and establishing herself in Education Recruitment.
Originally Lucy was born in Hungary and at a young age moved to East London, to benefit from the outstanding education she could receive. Overcoming many challenges during her time at school she was able to understand the issues students and teachers can face in the educational field which has helped her in understanding Candidates and Clients better.
Since joining us, Lucy has brightened up our office and she will continue to do so whilst exceeding her targets and learning from our experienced Consultants.
Amy has worked in Recruitment for over 4 years, previously specialising in the Healthcare sector, supporting the NHS and private medical practices.
Before pursuing her passion in compliance, she previously worked in the sales division, giving her a unique view of the recruitment process, and putting her in a fantastic position to support Ribbons and Reeves candidates with any compliance queries they have.
After building up her knowledge of audit practices and the compliance frameworks, she has taken on a new challenge in the Education sector, working with our consultants to ensure our compliance is completed to the highest standard for the schools we work with.
When Amy isn’t working to get candidates compliant you can find her at a Pilates class, on a weekend away with the girls or having a night with her family.
Whilst working as a Teaching Assistant, Ellie completed an undergrad degree in Education Studies. She then went on to gain her QTS with PGCE and ventured into the world of Teaching. She gained invaluable experience of school life and what it takes to be a Teacher!
Ellie soon realised her interest was sparked in ensuring outstanding individuals were in schools educating the future and had a desire to take on a new challenge. Combining the two, she made her move into Education Recruitment. Since then, she has applied her expertise of the field to her role as a Recruitment Consultant at Ribbons & Reeves.
Outside of work, Ellie enjoys going for brunch with the girls, cosy walks with the dogs and keeps herself active by (begrudgingly) going to the gym!
If you are ready to achieve your aspirations of working in a school, don’t hesitate to contact Ellie via LinkedIn.

Jasmine has always had a passion for making a difference in children’s lives who require additional learning needs from her experience in working in a SEND school as an ABA Tutor and working with children of all ages and abilities on a 1:1 basis. This has always been an important part of her career, especially working in the same SEND school as her sister who has learning difficulties – this has given Jasmine the opportunity to recognise, very early on in her career, the importance of placing the right support staff into schools with vulnerable children.
Prior to R&R, Jasmine spent a year in IT recruitment but then decided to combine her beliefs in supporting vulnerable children and step into the world of Education Recruitment to make a difference in children’s learning and progress! She has always had an ambition to be in a people-focused role as she loves meeting and speaking with new individuals!
Jasmine is excited to build relationships and place top talent into SEND specialist schools as well as assist Graduates in placing them in the perfect role for their future aspirations.
Outside of work, Jasmine enjoys spending time with friends and family particularly trying new foods in restaurants – she is a huge foodie (especially Turkish and Italian).
Jonathan had worked in the property industry for 8 years, having worked in both Lettings and Sales in North London. Specialising in Non-Class-Based roles, Jonathan has already made a huge impact in expanding his network of schools and talented job-seekers within his designated patch – Southeast London. He takes huge pride in his attention to detail, ensuring that candidates and clients are matched appropriately according to their needs.

As an Economics and Finance graduate Sam wanted to move away from his analytical background to something more meaningful, making a positive impact in the public-sector. He wanted to use his communication skills to assist schools and jobseekers to find their perfect match, which has found Sam being successful in specialising in non-classroom-based roles. Sam has quickly built strong relationships with schools and candidates alike across East London. In his own time, he loves keeping active at the gym, walking his two greyhounds and travelling, especially around America and Asia.

Amber is R&R’s Executive Assistant, and this role means a return to the recruitment industry for Amber, having first started in the sector in 2013, working in accounts. As our business grows at great speed, Amber’s versatile background has really helped us to ensure we have the right foundations to offer a world-class service to schools and candidates.
Prior to joining R&R Amber has experience in Corporate Financial Services based in London and most recently Amber worked away from the four walls of an office, following her passion for horses and working in the Equestrian world.
During this time Amber accomplished many things, but one of pride is when she worked and rode horses owned by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. This led to Amber meeting our late Queen and created a memory that Amber will always hold dear.
In her spare time Amber is seen in the gym 5 days a week, with chicken and rice being her favourite meal. Amber’s not giving up horses all together, she attends to her own horse (Donnie) every day after work. She is not a fair-weather girl, she’s there come rain, snow or gale force winds. Donnie’s in good hands.

Harry had worked for almost 10 years in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods industry occupying various roles within a B2B sales environment before deciding he needed a change and made the jump into the world of education recruitment with Ribbons & Reeves during the summer of 2022.

Using the transferrable skills acquired throughout his career so far, Harry has been able to hit the ground running, growing his network of schools and providing them with quality graduates to put through their own respective Teacher Training programmes from day 1.

Outside of work Harry likes to let his hair down (hard to do with all the hairspray he uses) by playing football & having a nice, cold pint of Birra Moretti – obviously not at the same time.

Matt has always held a passion for education. Having long-considered a career as a Primary Teacher himself, he considers himself very fortunate to have spent much of his career to date working in an industry where he can positively enhance educational outcomes from a wider-perspective; through the quality of teaching and support staff that he provides to schools.
Matt has worked in Education Recruitment for the past six years. During this time, he has successfully supported Primary and Secondary Schools across London, East Anglia and the Home Counties with permanent teacher appointments and long-term graduate appointments. In addition, he has been heavily involved in Initial Teacher Training and is particularly invested in supporting school leaders to ‘grow their own’ teaching talent. Matt gets great enjoyment from speaking to ‘future teachers’ and listening to what has inspired them to consider teaching as their future careers. Being able to support these graduates in securing their first school-based role and then seeing their careers progress is incredibly rewarding.
Away from work, Matt loves spending time with his family and he can usually be found either on a long-walk somewhere in the countryside or at home watching Disney films. However, when not watching Moana or Frozen (his daughter’s choice, honest…), he is probably either playing five-a-side football, attempting to play golf or adding to his collection of obscurely flavoured gins.
In a hugely competitive and saturated market, Tom has forged a proven track record of success since starting in Education Recruitment in 2014, consistently delivering high-calibre Graduates, Teachers and Leaders to Primary and Secondary schools across London, earning him several individual accolades along the way.
A process-driven Recruiter with an eye for detail, Tom believes passionately in offering his schools both quality and value, demonstrating a clear understanding of the need for children to have the best educators in their classrooms, but also acknowledging the financial restraints placed upon London-based schools!
By sticking to his core principals – high-quality Candidates, dedicated Client service, and an approachable, solution-based manner – Tom is one of London’s most consistent and respected Recruiters, and the first port of call for numerous schools across the Capital. As a further show of commitment to the sector, he also works closely with several London-based Universities to aid the development of students looking to enter the wonderful world of education at source.
Additionally, as a Father, Tom holds a personal motivation to ensure that each and every Candidate he screens and submits for work is of the sort of calibre he would want educating his Son.
Check out Tom’s LinkedIn page for more about his career-path, his interests, and to read various Testimonials from happy Clients!
