One of our schools in Barking & Dagenham need a History Teaching Assistant who is ready to support Secondary School and Sixth Form children with learning and attainment.

This job is a fantastic opportunity that offers on-the-job training that will equip History Graduates with the fundamentals of Teaching whilst surrounded by outstanding colleagues.

Aspiring History Teacher | Job Summary

• Up to £500 a week | Paid weekly via PAYE
• Opportunities for rapid career progression
• Working with KS3,4,5 children on a whole class, small group and 1:1 basis
• Specialised training
• Helping to deliver the curriculum in an innovative, interactive way
• Support an experienced member of the History Department
• Work with outstanding colleagues who will be beneficial in your training

To thrive in this role as an Aspiring History Teacher, you must be able to demonstrate a high level of organisation, problem solving and engaging teaching. It is preferred that you will have some child centred experience.

Enthusiasm is key in this role; you must be able to ensure students stay focused and are happy whilst obtaining high grades. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a History Graduate interested in getting into Teaching, as there are fantastic opportunities further down the line.
