Starting in September 2024, this Geography Teacher (ECT) opportunity will see you joining a creative and innovative Humanities department that is ready to help support you during your ECT years.

We are specifically looking to appoint a Geography Teacher (ECT) who is passionate about working in disadvantaged communities as the school have a significant high number of Pupil Premium students.

You will join a growing Geography department and under the guidance of a talented Head of Department. The successful Geography Teacher (ECT) will be mentored by an experienced Lead Practitioner and have weekly CPD training along with all of the school’s other ECT cohort.

• Exciting, well-resourced 11-18 Secondary School based in Kensington & Chelsea
• Full-time, permanent school contract to start in September 2024
• Close-knit supportive Humanities department with talented HOD
• Energetic, innovative, and creative Geography department
• Experienced Lead Practitioner as your ECT mentor
• Weekly CPD, training and progression

This Geography Teacher (ECT) role will see you joining a fantastic team lead by a fantastic HOD who is excited to collaborate with the incoming Geography Teacher to further enhance the school’s Humanities offering.

• UK Teaching qualification such as a PGCE, SCITT, or Bachelor of Education (BEd)
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Minimum of a 2:1 degree within Geography 
• Ability to deliver outstanding attainment and achievements up to KS5
• Innovative and creative approach ready to engage, enthuse and progress learning
• Exceptional subject knowledge of Geography
