Physics Graduate Tutor – Secondary School

Are you a graduate who is passionate about Physics and eager to inspire the next generation of budding Scientists?

A forward-thinking and high-performing Secondary School in Wimbledon is seeking a dedicated Physics Graduate Tutor to support Key Stage 3 and 4 students, helping them build confidence and achieve success in their studies.

This role is perfect for an aspiring Physics Teacher looking to gain valuable school-based experience while making a meaningful impact on young learners’ lives.

Physics Graduate Tutor – Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver targeted Physics Intervention sessions for small groups and individual students.
  • Plan engaging activities aligned with the national curriculum to address gaps in learning.
  • Support students in preparing for GCSE Physics exams.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to track progress and tailor Interventions effectively.
  • Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that motivates students.
Physics Graduate Tutor – Job Requirements:
  • A degree in Physics or a related subject
  • Strong Physics A-Level and GCSE qualifications.
  • Previous experience working with young people, ideally in a school or tutoring setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, empathetic approach.
  • A genuine passion for education and the ambition to pursue a teaching career.
